Welcome to Yale, Class of 2014! We are thrilled that you are considering joining the a cappella community. In 1977, Redhot & Blue revolutionized the Yale a cappella scene by combining male and female voices on a single stage—the first group to do so. Today we continue to lead collegiate a cappella with innovative new arrangements such as “Birdland,” “ABC,” and “Blackbird.” With upcoming tours of Los Angeles, St. Louis, and France, it is an exciting time to be in Redhot!
The audition process for a cappella can be confusing, so let us be your guides. A cappella "rush" is a combination of auditions, concerts, and lots of good food, culminating in the selection of a shiny new tap class.
